If you read my blog yesterday, you would know, among other things, that I thought it was crazy for the Yankees to carry 13 pitchers and knew it would not last long. Well, turns out I was right. Dave Robertson (who pitched 2 scoreless yesterday) was optioned back to AAA and Juan Miranda was sent up to the show.
The Yankee bench now consists of Melky Cabrera, Jose Molina, Ramiro Pena and Juan Miranda. Ouch!
Remember when we used to have so much depth that Nick Swisher was actually a bench player?

Sad to see Robertson go, but I like having 4 on the bench....even if its a rag tag group. Big ups to the Yanks for their first win in the new ballpark...screw Sheff and his 500th HR...and good luck to you, Mikey my boy, on Tuesday...all of Vegas has your back.
